Office 2003, which was released in 2003, was the first version that only supported NT-based operating systems. Windows New Technology (NT) is a bundle of operating systems Microsoft developed. Additionally, Office 2003 was the first version that included OneNote.

Office 2007 was the first version of Microsoft Office that supported Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
